Mondulkiri, Cambodia - officially known as Mondulkiri Province - is a large area of eastern Cambodia defined by its natural beauty and wildlife diversity.
Mondulkiri is the most sparsely populated province in Cambodia, despite the fact that it’s also the country’s largest. Much of this is due to the geography of Mondulkiri, which is a far cry from the well-known low-lands of Cambodia, famed for their rice fields, plains and rivers.
Mondulkiri in Cambodia is predominantly a dense forest territory with some mountainous regions scaling to 1000 metres. This is a wild and relatively untouched corner of Cambodia, featuring a very small population for the space available and little internal infrastructure. The capital town of Senmonorom is home to around only 7000 people.

Getting to Mondulkiri, Cambodia
Companies in Cambodia operate chartered minivan services, which run similarly to coaches and bus routes. You can book these online here or arrange them while in Cambodia. You can also arrange private taxis. This will be the only way to get to Mondulkiri in Cambodia unless you have links to locals with transport. There are no other methods of public transportation available.
